Anika Meihe



Anika is a physiotherapist that was born in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from the faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Growing up in a German family of four siblings she learnt to speak German, French as well as English and enjoys practicing her Spanish. Anika played many competitive sports before finding a passion in Volleyball, playing as a middle hitter for a team in Northern Germany during a high school year and being captain of the volleyball team during her years in Junior College.

Anika graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy in 2011. Having worked with multiple athletic teams such as the Female Hockey Team of McGill University she has a lot of experience in the prevention and management of sports injuries as well as appropriate return to play planning.

Anika recently moved to Nanaimo to be part of the Island Optimal Health & Performance Team and looks forward to new adventures on the Island.
