What Does a Birth Biomechanics Practitioner Do?
Birth Biomechanics practitioners focus on strengthening, stabilizing and increasing mobility within the pelvis and thoracic diaphragm. This can increase peoples chances of an optimal vaginal delivery and find some relief from uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms such as sciatica pain, SI joint pain, heartburn, pubic symphysis, and other uncomfortable symptoms.
Babies move within the space they have, and these aches are more than just a normal part of growth. Working with pregnant bodies before labour begins to help their baby’s get into the optimal birthing position and relieve pregnancy discomforts.
