Casey is accepting WSBC and ICBC patients with as his case load allows.
A retired professional athlete, Casey works with all youth growth and development and sports, infant plagiocephaly and torticollis; and, all adults’ injuries, including WSBC claims.
Originally from the Prairies, Casey fell in love with the coast when attending Simon Fraser University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Honours degree. It was a given that he would return to the ocean after then finishing his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta.
Physical therapy is Casey’s 3rd career, with his others spanning being a cowboy and professional level athlete, and as a nationally licensed tradesman.
Treating injuries, concussions, vertigo, and neurological conditions; whether it is work, lifestyle, sport or accident, surgical or chronic, Casey helps people build back their strengths and gain the skills to get back to what they love to do.
Casey also spends his time providing volunteer-based physical therapy consultations to children and their families through paediatric outreach clinics at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
His sport and health resume include sports therapy and performance training for the Vancouver Whitecaps Pre-residency program, the Canadian Professional Rodeo Sports Medicine Team, the World Police and Fire Games, BC Ride to Conquer Cancer, multiple BC Games, multiple marathons, and has been the physiotherapist for the Nanaimo Hornets Rugby Club since 2018.
In his off time, Casey is frequently adventuring with his family, mountain biking, fishing, tinkering in his shop, and working on his tractors, teaching, and keeping up with healthcare science.
